Count Filtered Data

Hello,

I have a sheet with company names and a project status (approved, not approved, etc.). I want to be able, in a different sheet, count the number of times a company appears with a status of approved.

Company	Status		Company	Number of Approved
Company A	Approved		Company A	1
Company A	Not Approved		Company B	2
Company A	In Progress
Company A	Not Approved
Company B	Approved
Company B	Not Approved
Company B	In Progress
Company B	Not Approved
Company B	Approved

I have tried running a report and tried countifs functions, but nothing seems to be working correctly. I need the numeric numbers because I want to use this for a chart in a dashboard. Is there a way I can count filtered data from another sheet? Thank you!

you shall use =countif formula and for range use Reference Another sheet.
