I have a sheet with company names and a project status (approved, not approved, etc.). I want to be able, in a different sheet, count the number of times a company appears with a status of approved.

I have tried running a report and tried countifs functions, but nothing seems to be working correctly. I need the numeric numbers because I want to use this for a chart in a dashboard. Is there a way I can count filtered data from another sheet? Thank you!
