I'm receiving an email that changes have been made to my sheet. I went through all my automations and do not have one that is supposed to email changes. I there another setting somewhere I can turn this off?

    Hi @Tanya B,

Can you see an unsubscribe link within either the email notification or the notification within Smartsheet? If so, you can click on that to ensure you no longer receive these emails. Take a look here for more information.ย

If the unsubscribe link isnโ€™t available, or if youโ€™d still like to determine where these notification emails are coming from, please open a Support ticket and include a screenshot of the full email notification, along with any IDs included in the email such as a sheet ID or workflow ID, and the team should be able to locate the relevant sheet and workflow and help you with who can disable/edit the workflow to ensure you no longer receive these notifications.

    Thanks,

    Georgie

    hi @Tanya B,

that's not very typical behaviour can you share here the screen shot of all the automationts that are created for this sheet?

    2 things:

    1. There is an unsubscribe at the bottom of the page - but will that stop all the automation notifications?
    2. The workflow has over 20 automations - I did look at each one to confirm it was not related to any of my automations (via subject line of email)

    Hi @Tanya B,

Unsubscribing would only turn off notifications for the user who unsubscribes.ย

To determine where this notification came from and ensure that youโ€™re able to get all notifications from it disabled, please work with the Support team as theyโ€™ll be able to use either the name of the sheet in the email or any IDs within the email to investigate on the backend, and they can communicate with you via private channels.

    Thanks,

    Georgie

@Georgie understood but my question is if I unsubscribe would I still get the automation emails for that sheet that I want to see or does it turn of all emails for that specific sheet?

    Hi @Tanya B,

    Ah, sorry for the misunderstanding!

Unsubscribing using the link in the email or Smartsheet notification will stop you receiving that particular notification - it wonโ€™t affect other workflows on the same sheet or workflows on other sheets, so youโ€™ll continue to receive email notifications from any other workflows that are set up to alert you.ย

Please note that once you unsubscribe from a notification, you wonโ€™t be able to subscribe to it again unless you have Admin or Owner level permissions on the sheet. More information on unsubscribing from notifications can be found here.ย

    Hope that helps!

    Georgie
