Links and Archiving?

So, I know that if you automate rows/cells to move to another sheet it removes links, but I have two sheets that are linked to one another that I want to archive and retain the links between them. Ideally I want to save a new version of each of the two sheets and archive those new versions and have links retained so that I can clear out the primary/source sheets to add new data into on a bi-yearly basis. The reason for clearing the primary sheets and adding in the new data is that those sheets are linked in process docs that cross-functional team access and they don't want to update with a new link each time the data changes.

Any ideas on how I can do this/if this is possible?

    Hi Charisse,

If you need the sheets to remain linked to each other, put both sheets into a folder. Then make sure you are in Browse mode, and right click on your folder and select Save as New. The default options to Preserve Data and Formatting and the Reference to "Newly created sheets" will create exactly what you're looking for. These are both default options but I expanded the menu to show you.
