Auto-fill account name in conversations posts
When tagging someone in a conversation, it can be frustrating to receive a vague comment like “Any update here?” or “Can you change the contact on this one?”—especially when there’s no context or reference to the specific account being discussed.
One suggestion to improve this would be to allow a value from a specific column (e.g., Account Name) to automatically populate within the comment text. For example, when typing in the comment field, it might look like this:
{Account Name} @kgarrelts_DON2025 — Where is the corporate office for this company?
The recipient would then see something more informative, like:
Red Robin Diner @kgarrelts_DON2025 — Where is the corporate office for this company?
This would help reduce back-and-forth and make it easier to respond quickly and accurately.
