Worflow trigger using as referenced field from another sheet.

I have a Lesson Learned sheet for each project in our portfolio. I would like to create a workflow to automate the copy of the project lessons learned rows to a portfolio lessons learned sheet once the project is complete.

The project status is referenced/updated from the project which is the dilemma since I don’t believe you can trigger a workflow using a referenced field. Is there a simple work around that I am missing?

If you don't have DataMesh available per Joseph's comment above you could set up your automations to trigger on a time basis. e.g. at 10pm every day if x conditions are met, copy row to sheet y?

I have a number of sheets linked together using INDEX MATCH formulae and I don't have DataMesh available so this is how I run the automations I use.

Alternatively, you can use the Smartsheet DataMesh add-on app to update the status, instead of relying on formulas or cell references.
