I have a report in Excel that I want to transfer regularly over into Smartsheet for dashboard reporting. One of the columns is a dropdown list that allows for multiple values. I am having trouble formatting it to where when copied from Excel, it paste into Smartsheet as the selected values. When I copy/paste, the cells with multiple values are pasting as text and not the dropdown options.

Example: the Columns dropdown options are "One", "Two", "Three". Whether I have it in Excel as "One, Two" or "One Two", it still paste as text in Smartsheet instead of showing as both "One" and "Two" dropdown list selections.

Any ideas?

If you have the excel value listed out with an Alt+Enter character between each value, it will translate correctly into Smartsheet as your listed values.

Excel: (all in one cell listed as below)

    One

    Two

    Three

    Smartsheet:
