Move rows automation originally from a recently deactivated account not working
When out on leave my Smartsheet license account was deactivated and the automation to move rows to another sheet along with other automations stopped working. Upon reactivating the account I had to go in and reset (click Edit) each of the automations and then change the impacted rows again to initiate the action (ex. move to another sheet). How can this be avoided in the future? I need the automations to work even if my license is deactivated.

Please be advised that the Workflows can be created only by licensed users - the unlicensed users can only edit data in the sheet (Editors). So if you create workflows on account and remove the license of course it will stop working.
The safest way to keep the workflows working is to assign those to an account that will not lose the license in the future.

@kowal Thank you so much for the response.
So if I understand you correctly - the workflows are executed by the account that establishes it - it is not a sheet / workspace formatting like a conditional formatting that would be executed on the row or specific cell. If I need the workflow to persist after my licensed account is closed, it needs to be assigned/transferred to another licensed account that is owner/admin on the workspace. Is that correct?
How do I assign the workflow?

Yes, that should do the trick.
