Two drop-down lists tied by logic with one another
Hello, I am a novice to SmartSheets. My first challenge is to create a form where when users select a department in one drop-down list, another drop-down list displays only those individuals belonging to department chosen in the first drop-down. So far I read articles talking about needing to set up an automation rule, but automation seems to enable assignment to a hardcoded individual and not dynamic list of individuals belonging to department selected. Thank you in advance for any leads.

You would need to set up separate columns for each department then use logic in your form to only show the appropriate department's column based on the initial department selection.
