Automation to modify cell value, cross referenced

I have one sheet that is a full list of all the serial numbers of items we have in stock. There is a

separate sheet that tracks all the serial numbers being deployed. Can I cross reference the deployed sheet and have a cell modified when a serial number on the inventory shows up on the deployed list?

Find serial number on deployed sheet, modify the cell on inventory sheet

hi @HVanDenKooy,

if you want to trigger workflow that will change anything in the sheet (change value, clear value, move row, copy row etc….) it will not happen if the change is triggered by cross reference.

Smartsheet turned it off as there was some loop issues where sheets were changing each other.
