Backward timeline?

Hello!

I'm looking for help to create a simple sheet that starts with a launch date, and assigns tasks dates using task durations. I'd like to use columns like tasks, start date, end date, duration and predecessors. Is there an extra column with a formula that will be needed?

    hi @MarthaP,

sure if you want to create project sheet from scratch and do not want to use gantt chart you can go backward and duration (which will be minus) you can use formula for that.

However you will not have prodecessors because it will automatically go in to project which can only go forward.

Thanks Kowal! I will need predecessors in this timeline.

I found a previous post that gave info a Workback Schedule that has helped. It's not as flexible as I'd like it to be but it's a start.
