Can system-generated changes act as triggers for automations?
I have a checkbox that utilizes an IF formula to uncheck once a submission has been made, and then set up the Record a Date automation to record the date when the system unchecks the box (or in other words, when someone makes a submission). I assumed this would work, but I can't get the date to record, even though the box does get unchecked. Any ideas?

Hi, @KarenTF , in this situation, consider using a "scheduled" automated workflow. Configure a workflow to run at a certain time (maybe EOD or early morning) to record the date when a your conditions are met.
With the exception of the workflow "Generate Document" action, workflow automations and calculated fields cannot trigger other automated workflows.
