Granular detail for Project Plan

Hello, I am being asked to up the level of accountability on completion on my Project Plans. I would like to get a date stamp on the day that each line item (specifically header rows) reaches 100%. Additionally, I would like to record the "% Done" at the end of the day specified as the "End Date" of the task. I tried to accomplish this through Automations.

Record 100% Date

Trigger - when rows are added or changed; when % Done changes to 100%
Condition - Task Name - is not blank
Record a date - record a date in "Completion Date"
Not doing anything when testing

Record % Done on End Date

Tried to set up as Change Value in a Cell, but not sure how to use the current value in % Done column to stamp in "% on End Date" column. Seems to only accept specified value

Maybe there is a way to set this up via column formula?

Why you od not use the workflow Record Date if you meet those conditions?

I think it would be the fastest way to capture it.

so if you setup another workflow to change value in some cell based on the % Done shall be working as well.

It's difficult to see what is the problem based on description only. Wanna share the screenshot of the columns that are changing and are triggering the change?

Hello, sorry I didn't see the responses. Here is a screen and further explanation. I want to record the % Done of a task at the time that it goes overdue. Basically trying to document on time completion rate

So I want the value of "% Done" to be stamped in the "% on End Date" column. I created this workflow

But didn't work on first pass of testing it returned {{% Done}} as the value

hi @Randy Van Winkle,

you cannot in smartsheet use the {{%Done}} as a part of worklow :( as you probably noticed this data will not be dynamic.

if you want to do stamping you shall use copy rows workflow to copy the required row (to be triggered on end date) from one sheet to another and then use the index/match to show in % on End Date
