Convert formula results to Text

I think this is a basic question but I can't seem to find an answer. I am combining the results of 2 text strings into 1 field
=Description@row + " (SEQ" + (SEQ@row) + ")" + ""
the challenge is that while it appears correct, when you click in the cell you see the formula not the text string. This would be a simple copy/paste as value in Excel but there doesn't seem to be an equivalent in smartsheets? Appreciate any help on this

You need to select the cells themselves (not the column header) to copy. Then you have to paste into a column that does not have a column formula already in it.

That's what I thought but (1) I can't copy and Paste the whole column (2) smartsheet isn't allowing me to copy and paste as value (or paste) the cells
any other thoughts?

@Paul Newcome thanks for the help, something odd going on with my sheet. I created new columns to copy/paste into and it still wouldn't work. Finally created a copy of the sheet and then everything worked smoothly. Appreciate your help with this.
