It would be helpful to have a storage option /space for dashboard widgets. Some months I have charts for various units, other months I need a text box with title to show there is nothing to report this time. Widget storage would make dashboard updates much faster.
@22Wordsmith You can cut/paste widgets from one dashboard to another the same way you can cut/paste cells in a sheet. Your storage option would be just a separate holding dashbaord that you can cut/paste widgets from/to as needed.

@Paul Newcome - I'm getting ready to hand this project over to people who aren't particularly engaged. It will be easiest for me to leave them one of every type of widget, including personalisation. Makes for around 100 widgets, so an index would have been 'neater'.
