Sending Completed PDF from SmartSheet

Hello!

Is there a way to send a completed PDF (that was auto populated from SmartSheet) via email to a contact list? I've tested this, and when I selected "Links to a sheet and specific fields" and entered "attachment", the email came through with a link to the sheet. I'm hoping to not send a link to the sheet, rather just the completed PDF. I saw there was another question about this from a few years ago, so wanted to resurface in case there have been any updates.

Thanks!

    Hi @Haileycase,

Just to confirm, you're referring to a completed PDF that was autopopulated by Smartsheet using the Generate Document automation?

This this case, yes it's possible to send the attachment directly. For example, I just setup some workflows to test this out, and this is the email that I received:

Notice how the attachment is at the bottom of the page, and I can directly click on it and download it.

I created a separate automation workflow that triggers when "An attachment is added or modified".

    It looks like this:

    I hope this helps!
