Can Smartsheet Forms Capture Multiple Entries as Separate Rows Like Excel?

I have this question as well. Had to revert to Excel.
I have a form for occupants that utilize a room in a specific building (6 different buildings). Each occupant needs to have a percentage entered of time spent in the room (many, many rooms) and into 1 -7 categories, which then need to total up to 100% for the room.
Right now, I have it set up with an option to "add another user" checkbox and then it will load the same previous information for input. Using this form, all additional users end up on the same line when it imports into the Worksheet. I need to have each occupant on their own line.
It would be easier if I could have it set up in an excel workbook type format (table like). Where user can enter each individual on a separate line. Is this possible?
I wonder if there's a more efficient way.

Hi,
I hope you're well and safe!
This might help!
I developed a solution using two forms (or the same form with conditional logic) that can be used to submit the main information and then the additional information on a new row for each subsequent submission after the first.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic day!

@maineL Take a look at this method I developed for transposing a single line from a form entry with multiple options in to multiple rows (one for each option).

@Paul Newcome . I'm working on this now. My Smartsheet and form are HUGE with a lot of columns with respective data that would have to copy to separate rows. I have looked over your method and do think it would work, but because my form is so big, I'm uncertain of where to start. I'd be happy to share the file with you, if that would be easier?
Thanks! L

@maineL How many columns are being populated by the form that need to be transferred over in the row by row format?
-
@Paul Newcome For each "seat" (there are 7 seats) there will be 13 columns. Thus 91 columns.
-
That should still be possible. Your formatting section will be prett large, and it will be a bit tedious to set up, but it should still work.

@Paul Newcome I'll continue digging to see if I can get it to work.
