Collections
How are users shared to Collections able to view the collection? It does not show up as a workspace and it appears that they are not even able to use the search feature to locate the assets?

- Collections do NOT appear in the Workspace list
Unlike workspaces, Collections are not a structural folder or container in the left-hand panel β theyβre more like a saved view/grouping of assets, similar to a playlist.
- Collections are personal or shared via link only
Collections do not automatically appear in someoneβs view just because theyβve been "shared to the collection". They need to:- Be given the direct link to the collection, OR
- Find it in the "Collections" panel if they created it or it was shared and added to their view.
- Search limitations
Users generally cannot search for a collection by name unless:- They created it
- They've already accessed and saved/viewed it before
- Access to items inside the Collection still depends on sheet permissions
Even if a user has access to a collection, they still need the correct sheet/report/dashboard permissions to view the individual items inside it.

Users shared to a Collection will not see it automatically in their navigation or search. They need the direct link to access it.

@Naeem Ejaz Thank you, that was very helpful.
I currently use WorkApps and I am just starting to use Collections. I prefer the functionality in WorkApps much better, but I'm trying to get comfortable using Collections as that will become the new normal.
