I have created a project plan using a Smartsheet template. I have multiple tasks and resources, each with different allocations.
However, I am encountering an issue with calculating task duration. Since my resources have varying allocations, I would expect, for example, that if a resource is allocated at 50% and the task effort is 8 hours, the duration should be 2 days. However, in Smartsheet, every task duration defaults to 1 day.
In MS project, task duration is automatically calculated based on resource allocations.
Is there a specific calculation I should be using in Smartsheet, or am I missing something?
