How to sync updates from multiple sheets back to a master sheet?

Options

I’m currently using a Master Sheet to manage company-wide data and am distributing that data to separate Team Sheets using row-copy automations so that each team only sees their own accounts (open to better methods for this too if anyone has suggestions!).

The challenge I’m facing is that while I can successfully push data out from the Master Sheet to the Team Sheets, I can’t find a reliable way to pull updated or new information back from those Team Sheets into the Master Sheet for admin review or centralized reporting.

Has anyone found an effective way to sync or collect data back into the Master Sheet from multiple child sheets? Ideally, I’d like any new or changed data on a Team Sheet to update the Master Sheet automatically or at least be consolidated for manual review.

Thanks in advance for any advice or workarounds!

For each team to see only their accounts you can use Dynamic views.

Cell linking will be useful for pulling back data.

For the last part download PMO template and check the linking of intake sheet with the metadata sheet.

With Dynamic Views does everyone have to have access to the Master sheet to view it?

Cell linking didn't work because I can't link the same cell from each of the Team Sheets back to the one cell in the Master sheet.

    What is a PMO template?

No, that's one of the unique things with Dynamic View. You decide what they can access, edit, or see in the setup.

    Have you explored using Reports?

    What is a PMO template?

It's a template available in the Solution Center, where you can find different templates.

    Make sense?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe, and have a fantastic day!
