Alright, everyone, let’s make some noise for this month’s Community Member Spotlight: Ashley Knight (@AKnight)! She’s a super-user, one of our very own Community Leaders, and a certified plant whisperer with a 100+ plant collection. She was also nominated by YOU, her peers, and we love to see that. Prepare to be wowed!
Ashley is a Business Operations Specialist at LEVATA Human Performance. She was first introduced to Smartsheet through her work with consultants, and with their support she got the foothold she needed to make the jump from science to project management. Soon, she was building custom solutions that became cornerstones of her career!
"One of the Smartsheet solutions I’m most proud of was a KPI tracker I built for a client," Ashley shares. "There were a lot of variables, including tickets spread across two sheets, multiple sub teams, and a sheet with formulas adjusting dynamically for varying month lengths. While formulas and dashboards are my strongest skills in Smartsheet, this ask pushed me the most, and by the end, the client and I were happy with the results."
Ashley says she’s learned a lot from the Community, with member shout-outs including:
- @Paul Newcome who has inspired her with new ideas for formulas  Â
- @Cayla Davis whose solutions and challenging questions have pushed her to expand her approach to problem-solving in Smartsheet
Ashley also hopes to achieve the highest rank in the Smartsheet Community, Ambassador, and complete her CAPM certification by the end of the year.
Outside of work, she keeps herself busy with a whirlwind of hobbies. She loves to antique and thrift, run, hike, draw, try new recipes, play with her dogs and cat, play video games, and take care of her plant collection — and she's always picking up new hobbies! She's especially thankful to the amazing people in the antiquing and plant community overall, who she loves spending time with.Â
