Smartsheet Gov and the Engage Event: Real-World Value?

Engage is a great opportunity to learn about exciting new feature releases and hear from experts and peers about their experiences with Smartsheet. However, I recently started working with my first client who transitioned to Smartsheet Gov, and there are many features and functions they no longer have access to. Understandably, this has been frustrating for them.

I also know that new features are often released to Gov clients much later than to Commercial users. Because of this, for the first time, I did not recommend that my Gov client attend Engage—I just wasn’t sure they would get enough value from the event.

I’d love to hear from other Gov customers who have attended Engage:

• How much of what was discussed and that you learned at Engage was actually applicable with or you could use in your Smartsheet Gov instance?
• Were the highlighted features everyone was excited about and anticipated for release compatible with Gov?
• If not, how long did it take for those features to become available in Gov, if at all?

I want to make sure I’m giving my clients the best advice, and I’d appreciate any thoughts or feedback on how Engage has (or hasn’t) benefitted Gov users. Thank you!
