Can SmartSheets trigger out an email with attached documents?

I'm trying to set up an automation to trigger a notification to my users requesting approval, but I want to simplify it by attaching a document that they can download from the email notification. This should simplify their workload, and they shouldn't need to log in to Smart Sheets at all.

Note: a document attachment is already attached in the Proofs section or the Attachment section.

To include the attachment if it isn't triggering the workflow, you must use the update request feature instead.

Thanks for your suggestion, but that does not attach any documents that were shared in Smart Sheets. All it does is send out a notification with a link to the file. Still, I'm trying to get the email trigger to include the file so the user does not need to take any other action but receive a notification with the attached file.
