I have a workflow with approval request for several approvers in sequence. The email notification to the first approver shows several selected fields including the attachments. As the first approver has "editor" rights to the SmartSheet, this person will also have the option of "Upload Files" through the approval request email. Which is great. However, SmartSheet will not apply attachment version control (unlike direct drag&drop to she row on the sheet) if another file with the same name is added through the approval email "Open request" option. I'm now having 2 files with the same file name, but different content attached to the record. That brings us into issues with any further (next step/level) approvers, who will not know, which file is the correct one. Is there a setting to select version control in that case (just like drag&drop to the row)? or hopefully it can be added soon?
