What's the best/easiest way to set up a forecast tracking sheet?

Hi!

I recently started a new position as a supply chain planner, and pretty much all the documents that were given to me are in Excel format. Being that I was using Smartsheet for everything in my previous job, I'd like to convert some of these files to Smartsheet and track there.

Below is an example of a forecast sheet that I took over. I changed the information to remove any sensitive data. For reference here is what everything means:

Forecast = Quantity given to us by the vendor and we fulfill as we can based on capacity and what not; ORDERS = customer pending orders; Receipts = goods that have been shipped to customers and received; Ending Invoice = remaining stock at the plant.

**Ignore the "#VALUE!" error message. When I changed the product ID, Excel didn't like it and I wasn't able to figure out how to fix it haha.

Hi @Bradhickswa,

Have you had a look at the template sets in the Template Gallery? I’d recommend downloading several sets that might be similar to what you’re looking for and taking a look through the assets to see if you can tweak them as required to suit your needs.

Alternatively, you can import your existing Excel files to create sheets in Smartsheet - take a look here for more information: Import file data to new sheets.

Thank you for your response. I have actually checked out the template gallery already and I know about importing sheets from Excel. I was more looking for some suggestions on what a good way would be to set it up in Smartsheet since some of the navigation is a little different than in Excel. Perhaps just setting it up 'as is' is the best way, and that's fine.
