Conditional Formatting on Symbols Based on Percentage

Hi,

I have searched a few articles to help apply a formula to update a symbol based on conditional formatting. Unfortunately, I'm still a little lost.

I have a Weekly Project Health column (Symbol type), where users can choose manually the desired status.

I also have a Weekly Participation Rate % column (Text/Number type), where a percentage is pulled from another reference sheet.

I would like to change the value of the Weekly Project Health column update automatically based on the Weekly Participation Rate %.

Example:

1. Weekly Project Health is Green if 85% and higher.
2. Weekly Project Health is Yellow if 70% - 84%.
3. Weekly Project Health is Red if 69% and below.

I duplicated your sheet to give you an exact formula that you can use in the "Weekly Project Health" Column of your sheet. You can use this formula to get results! Be sure to right click on the cell you paste this formula into and convert it to a column formula so it will continue to do this for you as you add to your sheet!

=IF([weekly participation rate]@row > 0.85, "Green", IF(AND([weekly participation rate]@row < 0.84, [weekly participation rate]@row > 0.7), "Yellow", IF([weekly participation rate]@row <= 0.69, "Red")))
