I've been using the Smartsheet 'PMO Template' for several months now without any issues. Today when I created a new project (save-as-new), the links between the Project Metadata sheet and the Project Plan sheet appear to have stopped working…across ALL projects.
Problem Description:
-When I populate the Project Intake sheet & hit save, a new 'Project ID' # is auto-generated. I then use this Project ID to auto-populate the Metadata sheet (this still works). The metadata sheet, in turn, is supposed to auto-populate the Project Plan Sheet. This part is no longer working!! This is the standard use case for the PMO Template and has worked flawlessly dozens of times.
After I enter the Project ID into the metadata sheet, & it has pulled-in all of the data from the Project Intake Sheet, the Project Plan Sheet remains completely BLANK. When I click on the cell links within the Project Plan sheet, a window pops up showing the correct linkage between the metadata sheet & the Project Sheet…but the PP cells remain completely Blank. In the past tit would take a few minutes, the screen would flash Blue, and the updates to the PP would appear. Now it just sits there and never updates.
PS: I went back to some of my older projects that have been in place for months and the same issue appears to be occurring in that when I change the Project ID within the metadata sheet, the PP is never updated…the same data from the prior Project ID just remains & is Never updated??
This is a huge issue as I can no longer create projects. The whole SS solution is broken as a result.
