Hello everyone,
I am trying to create a cell that calculates the number of times a certain name shows up whenever a criteria is chosen from a dropdown menu.
Currently, I have Column E with a dropdown menu of names (uses data from Column L). Column F will use that cell as a reference to populate a cell using VLOOKUP (populates data from Column M). Column G is then suppose to use both Column E and F to determine what row it should use the CountIF function on, where it will count the number of times Column H populates in Column N:BC.
The problem I am facing is that whenever I use the IF statement, it wont target the row I want it to. I have to make the functions logical expression a set cell. I need it to be different each time I choose a different name in H for different criterias in E and F.
Hope you understand. I am still a novice at explaining this or completing something like this.
