I have a few sheets where users have access to it through collections, but are not shared to the base sheet itself. This is by design as we do not want the users in the raw data.
When utilizing the comments function from a collection and mentioning another user, the notifying message/notification has the "go to sheet" button to easily view and reference the row where the comment was added. The problem is that link takes them to the base sheet external to the collection, so the can't easily access.
I would like to request one of the following:
- Originating view/collection be taken into consideration when sending notifications/emails for mentions in comments, and resulting "Go To Sheet" button automatically default to originating view/collection (or closest shared view/collection user is shared to).
OR
- Allow for manual selection of which view/source should be linked in the "Go to Sheet" button
