Hi all,
I’m using Smartsheet Dynamic View to manage access for users who aren’t shared to the underlying sheet. When I @mention someone in a comment within Dynamic View , they receive a notification — but the link in that notification takes them to the sheet, not the Dynamic View.
This creates confusion, especially for users who don’t have sheet access and end up requesting permissions unnecessarily.
My questions:
- Is there a way to configure @mention notifications so the link points to the Dynamic View instead ?
- Alternatively, can the messaging in the notification be customized to include a Dynamic View link or clarify where the user should go?
I’m open to workarounds, including automation-based alerts if that’s the best path forward.
