Allow Form Submitters to Update their form answers post-submission

We use Forms for event sponsors to complete information on their sponsorship type, cost, inclusions etc. Often, they don't have all the answers in the initial pass. After they submit is there a way to allow them to go in an update their answers in the form?

Right now we have to manually update every change in the sheet which is cumbersome.

Is there a tip, trick or some way to allow the person who submits the form to make future changes?.

Hi @sally.m77751,

We have exactly the same issue. To handle this we added an automation that sends an update request, in which we include specific fields that we allow the user to update.

We do have some fields that we do not want the user updating, but do want them to be able to see so use the lock column option to lock the column and allow the user to see thew field, but not edit them.
