I'm looking for some help with a possible parent/child formula.
We have a parent row that lists the project name, then two date columns - start date and end date.
The children rows list the tasks that have to be completed for the project. Each of the tasks will have a different start date and end date. The Foreman is responsible for entering the projected start / end date based on how many days it will take for each task.
Every now and then the project start or end date may change due to shipping delays, ect… On some projects there may be up to 60 children rows with different tasks and dates. So, when this happens, they have to go in and change the start / end dates for all 60 tasks.
Is there a formula that would adjust the start and end dates in the children rows based on the start / end date entered in the parent row?
I'm a beginner with smartsheet, so I apologize if I've made this more complicated than it should be.
