Hey all,

For October’s question, we asked you to pitch your talk show ideas, and you delivered! If I were a TV producer, I'd be signing you up, because I saw some truly great concepts in there. 😉 From tech to home life, healthy cooking, hobbies, interviews, Smartsheet Swag Hunters (I bet this one would be a hit!), and cats—I've always known the Community is full of talent.

Now, we move on to November's question and your new chance to earn a badge while getting to know your peers:

What's your favorite Smartsheet-related achievement?

My favorite Smartsheet related achievement was becoming Core Product and Project Management certified!

It would be neglectful to not include the great success I've had in the solutions I've built to support many teams across my company.

I am extremely proud of a project I worked on this year to enhance CPR training for our hospital system's nurses! It required extensive problem-solving, collaboration, and creative use of Smartsheet tools. I developed an intake sheet to track each logged action taken during CPR simulation sessions, then used Control Center to create blueprints for each department's training program. I also built Dynamic View for the participant's manager to monitor and designed a dashboard to visualize training metrics. This solution could allow our hospital system to easily track CPR training compliance and readiness across departments and may drive improve preparedness across our hospital system.

My favorite Smartsheet-related achievement was becoming a Community Champion and also getting Core Product certified!

I want to say my favorite Smartsheet-related achievement is becoming an Overachiever! But if we're focusing on something that was achieve using Smartsheet - I have one that was medium effort, large impact.

This year, our PMO started testing a new way of working with some of our projects. There was a lot of work done around the why, who, how, etc., but not much up-front work on reporting and metrics. As the new way of working started progressing, my team realized there was a huge gap in this for our executives. Thankfully, we were already collecting the base data. Using this, I created new dashboards focusing on the new way of working and was able to create visibility and insights that our delivery teams and executives just didn't have. These dashboards have been a HUGE success, and it opened up ideas for different lenses of insights as we evolve as an organization.

Very proud of the Program Workspace that we put together as a team of 3. This program is being utilized by most of our teams company wide!

My favorite Smartsheet accomplishment - hands down - is being in the first Overachiever class! That was a huge acknowledgement (and still is) of what I've done and continue to do with Smartsheet.

In the last year-ish…. Development of a WorkApp for Compliance management - audits, certifications, etc - that is working well enough that we're having to evaluate if GRC systems add any value for us.

I am proud to admit I finally understand the new Admin Tool, including the new Seat Type and True up tool. Whew, that deserves a Gold Badge! 🤩 Change is good.

For the moment, it is having the opportunity to go to the Engage Conference this week. I'm still working on getting my core product certification. Once i get that, i'm sure that will be it!

My favorite achievement so far -

Building a helpdesk ticketing system from scratch, and using my knowledge of my coworker's habits to put error checking in place that catches mistakes before customers see them. I don't allow them to close tickets until they've assigned them to themselves, and everyone gets an email triggered by them, if they try to. I think the biggest challenge in the ticketing system was figuring out how to get canned responses and comments to our external partners who don't use smartsheet. We ended up using the Update Request feature to keep all of the information within Smartsheet, and not have to resort to emails, where information can be lost. Making use of the double curly brackets to embed row information into automations is also a really big feature I used in this endeavor.

I created a workflow that helped our entire campus manage Resident rotations. It was such a success, every year it rolls out and has been adapted by a new dept and eventually the main office asked everyone to start using the process.

What's your favorite Smartsheet-related achievement?

Going to ENGAGE 2024 last year in Seattle. I was hoping to go again this year but it was not in the cards. Maybe next time. I did have a blast last year and totally learned so much. My brain was complete mush but after 2 months of defragging, I finally made sense of it all. Totally worth it. I came back a Smartsheet addict.

I just got my 1-year anniversary badge today!

I don't think I could have planned a better year with a better tool. Honestly, I love it, and I'm so proud to be an advocate for Smartsheet at my company (and beyond!).

Maybe not a specific time, but more generally when I am struggling with a tricky formula, then finally break through and conquer the formula! There are several that I am pretty proud of that look kind of crazy from the outside, but it works!

My favorite achievement is going from zero to 100 to build out a project management system in less than a year. Not only did I have to learn and build the system I also had to learn SmartSheet from the ground up. I have gone from having never used SmartSheet to being recognized as a company SME since moving into my new roll.

My most notable Smartsheet-related achievement was making organizational changes to my team's workspace which made it easier for everyone to locate their projects. In addition, I created a request tracker to streamline all Smartsheet related requests that derive from my teammates and other team members.
