Identifying a risk in my project plan.

I have a risk sheet with a system generated id column (ACT-0001); etc. In the risk sheet I have a helper column to identify if the risk is linked to a task in my project plan sheet.

In my project plan sheet, I have a column called RiskID that contains a string of risks (ACT-001; ACT-0002; etc.) linked to a task. The risks are separated by semi-colon, how can I inform the risk sheet that the risk row is linked to a task in the project plan.

I tried countif with wildcards, find, etc. to no avail.

This is the risk management sheet.

"ActionID-Text" column converts the system-generated column value to a text field. Probably not required, but I got desperate :).

The “In project plan” column contains a countif formula to check if the "ActionID-Text" cell value is in the “Action-ID” column of the project plan sheet. See the next picture.

The formula is “=COUNTIF({RiskID}; "*" + [ActionID-Text]@row + "*")”. {RiskID} references the Action-ID column in the project plan.

The action-ID column contains the IDs of risks (ignore the confusing names [risks/actions] please) linked to this task. There could be multiple IDs separated by a semicolon.

=IF(COUNTIFS({RiskID}, CONTAINS([Action ID-Text]@row, @cell)) > 0, true)
