I am working on creating a roadmap calendar for 2026. The source of the calendar is a report that pulls from multiple roadmaps across our Marketing department.
I have the calendar grouped first by Marketing Pillar and then Pod (where applicable). It's worked alright so far but some feedback I've received is that our strategy and leadership would like to be able to view the items on the roadmap based on priority values. I went into the Advanced Settings of the calendar and told it to sort the cards based on the Priority column:
I thought this was a win but, when looking back at the calendar, it did change the order, but it doesn't seem to be working exactly how I would expect.
I saw in a previous post that Calendar sorts by Start Date, Duration and then Row Order, but that also seems inconsistent with what I'm seeing here and, even if that were the case, then what's the point in letting me prioritize based on a column value if there are 3 other factors that are going to be prioritized first?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Being able to get this calendar view in priority order would be a huge win for my team!
