Hey Smartsheet friends!
The holiday season is creeping up like that one cookie you swore you weren’t going to eat… and suddenly I’m craving the need to bake all of the sugary, buttery, cinnamon-sprinkled goodness that comes with it.
I want to put together a little collection of community-favorite holiday treats — partly because I love baking, and partly because my willpower has already left the chat. I also love learning about new baked goods I've never made before!
What I’m looking for:
✨ Your go-to baked goods
✨ Family-secret cookies (the ones we PROMISE not to gatekeep… probably 👀)
✨ Candies you whip up every December
✨ Anything sweet that screams “holiday magic”
Pics, recipes, and chaotic kitchen victory stories are all welcome.
If you burned a batch so badly it looked like coal, honestly? Extra points.
I’ll kick things off:
I’m planning on making 3 new kinds of baked goods I've never done before - Baklava, Linzer (mocha with a salted caramel center), and a dark chocolate orange shortbread! Among that I'll be making the usual go-tos like clothespins, chocolate chip m&m, spritz, pecan tassies, and glazed lemon cookies (trust me there are like 8 more kinds on the list to make too).
Now… what are YOU making this season?
Let’s build the most chaotic, delicious virtual cookie platter together. 🍪💛
