There have been multiple challenges with the pop-out panes. It continues to delay opening assets (sheets, reports, and dashboards). Additionally, it takes away from asset real estate as most team members would like to get to their information often finding the pop-out panes as a frustration and distracting.
Is there a way to have the pop-out panes as part of personal settings or at least have a less automated way of opening?
