Can't Find Option to Reference Another Sheet with new AI-enabled design

I was a away from Smartsheets for a few weeks while switching jobs and I can't find some stuff now. A month ago, when doing formulas that had the capability for a cross-sheet reference, Smartsheet would offer you a link to "Reference Another Sheet".

Now, when I try to use a formula, a pane on the right tries to help build the formula, but it does not offer the opportunity to "Reference Another Sheet." How do I reference another sheet with this new pane?

All tutorials online show the functionality above and NOT the functionality below. Please help.

HI @Oscar Daniels,

You can right-click anywhere in your grid, and select "Manage References". From there you can create your cross-sheet reference. Then you can use it in your formula through the AI. Remember to use curly brackets {} for cross-sheet instead of square brackets [] which are used for formulas in the same sheet.

The only difference is when writing a formula in the AI prompt, you aren't given the option to create the reference on-the-fly. That would make for a good Product Idea submission though if you can't find one already submitted to up-vote.

Thanks, @Ray Lindstrom Interestingly, I can't seem to find "Manage References on the page I am working on (which I created), but I was able to find it when right clicking on a newly created blank worksheet. Do you have any thoughts on why I have a different context menu when clicking on the cell below?

You need to switch to Grid view in order to see that Manage References menu item.

They haven't added it to Table view yet. Eventually it will be added as Table view will one day replace Grid view.
