We're excited to introduce a new, custom user role to give Brandfolder customers more flexibility and control over user permissions.
This customizable role allows you to grant specific admin-level capabilities, like approving assets or managing share links, without assigning full admin privileges. This means no more bottlenecks waiting for an Admin’s approval and no more risky workarounds like temporarily upgrading a user’s permissions!
The new customizable permissions for this role include:
- Approve, expire or reject assets for requests
- View, add, and remove assets from any share link
- Change sections for uploaded assets
- Edit a Brandguide
To further simplify, we are consolidating our separate admin and collaborator limits into a single, straightforward user limit. This change gives you the freedom to allocate user seats as any combination of admins, collaborators, or the new custom role, without needing to contact sales to reallocate permissions. How to Get Started
As a Brandfolder Owner or Admin, you can head to the "User Management" section at the organization level. There, you’ll find a new option to create your custom role. Just give your role a name, select the capabilities you need, and you’re ready to go! Learn More
