Hi, with our current Brandfolder setup, the team is having trouble finding assets, this is mostly due to having too many sections (currently 45).
My initial plan is to reduce the amount of sections to about 10-12 but ideally this would involve nesting sections within each other… which I believe is not possible. eg Brand Identity > Logos etc
At the moment, we are using labels for teams and campaigns (which I am reluctant to change as it seems to be working well.) We also use tags for different countries.
Here's my problem:
- If we reduce the amount of Sections and can't nest them, how can we make it easy for users to find what they are looking for?
- Eg, Select 'Marketing Assets' as a Section, then they can select their team/campaign from 'Labels' but how do they narrow it down to 'Adverts'?
- Should we create custom fields so that they can narrow the assets down with filters? If we have 45 Sections that are turned into custom fields, that in itself is a lot to navigate.
- Ideally, it would be like visiting a Retail site, looking for clothes. When you filter, you can select your size, style, colour, etc. Is this possible with Brandfolder?
I would really appreciate some guidance, I know in my head how we want the data to be sorted, but I'm having difficulty working out how Brandfolder functions!
