Hyperlinks in Metric Widget

I have hyperlinks that I put in our intake sheet that feed our profile data that I would love to show on our program dashboard but the metric widgets don't carry the links over. Having to add them manually to every dashboard is a nuisance. I wish it could be similar to the way that Contacts will show up in the Metric widget. If there's a way around this that I'm not aware of, please let me know!

Reports do keep hyperlinks though. What I usually do is create a report that has only the hyperlink row and column (at least) and use a report widget to put it on the dashboard.
