Data Mesh - Can you have 2 Data Mesh Configurations go into the same target sheet?

I have 2 different Smartsheets, one for design and one for construction. Each of these sheets have several different date columns that I would like to capture in a single target sheet.

I can get the initial design information into the target sheet, but the construction sheet wants to create new rows instead of completing the columns further down the row. I am using a report to transfer the information.

Is there a solution to this?

You can as long as they both use the same identifier column.
