Many users manage complex projects across multiple interrelated sheets and rely on formulas to consolidate data, calculate key metrics, and generate portfolio-level rollups. A critical part of this workflow is the ability to reference values from other sheets—commonly known as cross-sheet formula references.
With this release, cross-sheet formula references are now supported in table view, bringing it to parity with grid view and removing a key blocker for customers looking to manage formulas entirely in table view. Customers can now:
- Add references to cells or ranges in external sheets directly from table view
- Edit existing cross-sheet references as needed
- Editing reference names
Note: This initial release does not include support for the following capabilities, which may be considered for future updates:
- Quick access to recently-referenced sheets in the sheet picker
- Autocompletion of reference names when typing
- Referencing cross-sheet formula ranges in “build with AI” mode
