Color code or indicate when there is content in Conversations and/or Attachments (Icons) at the Sheet Level. This would eliminate clicking on the icon to see if there is content to view.
See attached for an example.

This is already a thing for conversations. There will be a small orange dot in the top right of the icon for conversations.
In my testing though, the orange dot did not appear for attachments, although I thought I remembered that being a thing as well.
Thank you @Paul Newcome for the prompt response and information, this is good to hear it's in the works!
I can't say whether or not anything is in the works. I just know that there is an indicator on the Conversations already. I thought there was an indicator on the attachments at some point as well, but I must have been mistaken.
@Paul Newcome There is an indicator per line, but not the overall sheet icons. You can see what I'm speaking about in the attachment in my initial submission. Unless this feature is available at a certain access level.
The indicator is in the top right of the icon. It is that orange dot seen in my screenshot.
I don't have the orange indicator and I have Admin rights. There are comments per line, sheet and "All".
this indicator comes when you text somebody using @his name and in return when that persons responds your message then orange indicator appears:
The indicator also appears even when you don't "@mention" someone. The indicator appeared for me, and my comment was simply "Test comment".
Thanks everyone for the input. The indicator continues to not show. I'll do some more checking and testing on this end.
Our sheets & workspaces require many people to have Admin level capabilities, which means that when someone requests access to a sheet or workspace, that email is sent to every Admin. This causes confusion and higher risk of no access granted (because people have learned to ignore the emails) or the wrong level of access…
Today you can create a form and add logic. If that logic requires that requests need to be made for X days in the future you can add logic to help. For instance is the date requirement is not met you can hide fields so that information cannot be submitted completely. You can display a banner if date requirements are not…
I have project with automations sending emails based on specific criteria in the row. These automations are sent via email with a form to acknowledge receipt of the automated email. It would be fantastic if there was a way to track/ensure the email was sent without the need to send a copy of the automated email to my inbox.
