During filters on numeric values that don't contain text in the string in a text/number field, the contains filter function won't pick up exact matches. Example the filter "contains" won't pick up a cell value of 12345 when contains is set to 12345 unless the cell also had text in it. If a wild card like * could be added to the front or back of the search, like in Excel, users would be less likely to receive an erroneous search result.
