With my old US Licence, I could publish Smartsheet dashboards directly into MS Teams as a Tab and have it display within Teams (which was made it so great for the work I do).
Having migrated to an AU region licence, I understood that MS Teams integration would take some time. I can now publish a sheet from my AU region Licence in MS Team sas a Tab, and have it open within Teams. But Teams can’t see any dashboards in my Workspaces, so I can’t publish them in Teams except as a web page.
The Smartsheet help bot tells me that publishing a dashboard in Teams was never available even in the US licence – demonstrably not correct.
Does anyone know if this previous functionality of publishing dashboard in Teams as a tab is still planned, or has it been retrospectively removed for all regions (as per the helpbot’s comments)? Having the ability to publish a Smartsheet dashboard in Teams as a tab (not as a web page) was a critical user function that made what I do for clients so accessible with enhanced governance and reporting.
Has anyone know if the ability to publish dashboards in Teams from an AU region licence as a tab is still coming, or no longer being supported at all? If it’s coming, I can wait. If it’s a function that’s no longer being support other than as a webpage, that seriously detracts from the usefulness and efficacy of using Smartsheet in a Teams environment.
