I've had a lot of confusion when onboarding new users to the platform—the pop-up that offers AI help in creating a new project/item is not relevant to my users. It's added more to my plate when onboarding new employees, as I can no longer just send them a link to the 1 or 2 sheets they actually need for their role and send them on their way.
I am one of 2 people that manages all workspaces, projects, and items in Smartsheet for the company. I actually prefer NOT to give individual users the tools to create their own items, as it would stray from our established processes and workflows and introduce unnecessary data and storage usage to our account. I've had new users go days or weeks thinking they don't have access to the correct sheets because they're getting stuck on this pop-up with no direction to navigate even to the normal home screen. Typically, I have to walk them through exiting out of this pop-up, saying, "Optimizing your workflows is my whole job, so you won't need to worry about this."
This seems to be a newer feature, as I've only started running into this issue in the past few months. Is there any way to turn off this pop-up at an account level?
