Automating date tracking and reminders

Hello,

Im building a long-range fiscal quarter date tracking sheet with preloaded due dates over multiple years . I need reminders to notify the assigned person only when the item is active , still unsubmitted, and within 30 days of the due date. I also want to avoid excessive reminder frequency.

Also i want to generate a monthly management report showing upcoming and overdue items

Ah, I realized I used checkboxes for the submission check, but you are using different columns for the submitted date. In that case, you can modify the conditions like this:

Since you're using different columns for each fiscal quarter, you could setup different automations for each quarter like this. Just make sure your date columns are actually date columns (move "closed-out" to another column, if you can). Then you can just duplicate the automation for each quarter and select the corresponding column in the "date field" section at the top.

There might be more efficient ways to handle this, but it should be enough to get you started.
