Match / Sumifs formula

Hello!

I am looking for a formula to match the entry in sheet 1 to the entry in a sheet 2, then sum a column in another sheet 2. Would a match or vlookup formula work best?

1 - Match Primary, Tower and Blade columns in sheet 1 to Site Name, Turbine Number and Blade Number Sheet 2

2) Return sum in Travel Hours column from sheet 2.

In that case, the {Cross Sheet References} would point to whatever sheet the formula is not in, and each [Column Name]@row would be whatever columns are used in the same sheet as the formula.

You would use a SUMIFS.

=SUMIFS({Travel Hours}, {Primary Column}, @cell = [Site Name]@row, {Tower}, @cell = [Turbine Number]@row, {Blade}, @cell = [Blade Number]@row)

That would sum everything if I was only using 1 sheet. But I need to match 3 columns in 2 different sheets, then sum 1 column

Do you have 3 sheets in total then?

The formula I provided would go in Sheet 2, and you would need to set up the {Cross Sheet References} following the appropriate steps to reference Sheet 1.

Only 2 sheets. The formula needs to go in Sheet 1, and reference sheet 2.
