Bring Back - Middle mouse button opens new tab in background

As the title suggest, re-adding this feature is essential for efficiency nerds and clicks-per-minute-analysts like me.

I start everyday looking at and analyzing about 8-9 different sheets. Going to the "recent" menu is my best friend. I just hover on top of each desired sheet and press middle mouse button which opens a new tab (IN THE BACKGROUND). This totals of 8-9 clicks.

Since the new update the MMB does not work for the "recent" section. Now I have to

right click desired sheet
then press —> open in new tab
click back to the previous tab with "recents" since opening a new tab FORCES browser to new tab
Redo step 1.

This is 3 times slower than previous version.

Yep. And respecting standard browser control/command click to open links in a new tab would be the baseline expectation of how a website should perform in 2026, yet Smartsheet insists on otherwise and has refused to fix this oversight for years…

It was working fine until a new update that was done during the past 5 weeks that I was on vacation. Before that the MMB was functioning fine in Smartsheet.
