Good morning,
We have an absentee calendar for approximately 150 employees, including 30 supervisors. Supervisors absences must be notified to a specific group. Automation works well for single day absences, but when an absence spans multiple days, the supervisor is not consistently included in daily (Mon-Fri) notifications. I do use "begin date" as part of my formula, end date is also included - how can I capture each day in between (without changing the dates weekly)?
I attempted a checkbox helper-formula to flag supervisors, but it does not generate - likely due to the length of the supervisor list (?) - ran it through AI to verify. I have not created a master employee list because of high turnover, which would make it difficult to maintain and unsustainable long term. Additional factors include; human error (misspelled names, incorrect entries, etc.) - I believe this is another reason why my formulas are not functioning properly.
I'm looking for suggestions or workarounds to reliably handle supervisor notifications under these constraints.
Thank you,
Kathy
